Guy Davenport, 2002. My friend Nikky, a poet as well, was contacted by Guy's longtime partner, Bonnie, after he passed. Bonnie had heard Nikky was looking for a house, and offered to sell Guy's to her, at the price he bought it. After U of Texas came and packed all his books for their collections, there was still enough stuff left behind for her to keep.
