ps--a woman from New Orleans told me this weekend about her neighbor, the singer of Pantera--in his backyard there is a pool, and at the bottom of that pool, in tiles, is: a pentagram.
around this pool are a bunch of well-tended banana trees.
reality trumps imagination yet again, huh?
Yeah, but if you put that in a poem, it wouldn't play.
Perhaps poetry is some kind of secret moderator, some kind of "buck stops here" for reality.
something to make reality act a little more sensible--i like the sound of that
