"Sum Up: The body and its parts are a river,

the soul a dream and
mist, life
is warfare and a journey
far from home, lasting
reputation is oblivion."

. . . but don't worry
you're only disappearing
because sparks disarm
their makers:

and that that
sounded nice
doesn't mean
it's true,
doesn't it?

With a little help from M. Aurelius, not to be CONFUSED with M. Ward.

It's been a day that started and ended
with his MEDITATIONS

cut by light and LAUGHTER. Tell those poems I said

THANK YOU.

Teaching Marcus Aurelius to high school students? That could be dangerous.

But then again, if you taught M.A. to the middle-aged, they'd only take it as redundant...

PS--"Make-up", Goddamn!
